Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology
We are pleased to announce that the Graduate Group in Biostatistics is now affiliated with the Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology ('DEB'), which is an inter-graduate group program that allows Ph.D. students to receive and be credited for training in the area of biotechnology. The DEB is administered by the UCD Biotechnology Program, and provides a nurturing interactive environment to promote integration of multiple disciplinary approaches to the conduct of research and to promote learning in biotechnology. For a full description of the program, please visit the DEB website: http://www.deb.ucdavis.edu/
Biostatistics graduate students: if you are interested in participating in the Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology, a list of course requirements can be found at: http://www.deb.ucdavis.edu/DEB_Courses_Activities/course_requirements.html.
